Event Details
The park might be known for the beautiful lake and abundance of recreation, but there is so much more to be discovered on trails less traveled. Established in 1926, it was owned by August Belmont and served as farmland for some of Belmont's equestrian activities. Home to a significant wetland complex, waterfowl that can be easily spotted include Northern Shovelers, Mergansers, Teal, Great Blue Heron, and Egrets. The tour fee is courtesy of the Library.
Meet at the park: $8 parking fee for those under age 62.
Registration required: North Babylon cardholders only.
