Event Details

This talk takes us on a visual PowerPoint presentation of his life, being born in Setauket, going to Yale at a young age, befriending Nathan Hale, becoming the Culper Spy Ring leader and leading a daring raid to attack a British fort in Mastic. On the way back he burned 300 tons of hay in Coram that was meant to feed the British horses over the winter. We go on a journey which started in Mt. Sinai Harbor, to Mastic and back and visit all the structures that Tallmadge and his unit may have seen along the way. presented by Historian, Robert von Bernewit.
