Grades K-5
Children will play with toys to explore physics concepts. During play, children discover what makes toys work. Both familiar and novel gadgets are explored.
They will work with gears, and magnets to make things move, and even create a circuit with the human touch. Also explored are toys that cause potential and kinetic energy, center of gravity, magnets that attract and repel, and more. The class winds down with a Yo-Yo to take home.
