See sparks fly from a Van de Graaff generator; cause confetti to levitate by creating a static field; tack on a wig to the generator for a brilliant hair-raising display from the repelling forces of charged atoms! Learn to distinguish between static electricity and electrical current; lightning and static-electric shocks; learn how to protect yourself from electric shocks and lightning. Assemble a Static Stick to take home for some electron-jumping fun!
