This free, multi-session program is offered by the Suffolk County Department of Health Services and is based on the CDC's Clinical Practice Guidelines for treating nicotine dependence.

Join artist Pamela Trastelis for a painting lesson. No experience needed, all materials provided. $10 non-refundable fee.

Join Kimberly for a mobility class that combines Vinyasa Yoga with modern mobility techniques. Improve flexibility and posture, build strength, and calm your mind. All levels are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat.

Ride the Library Train and then enjoy stories, songs, and a fun craft.

Ages: Birth - Grade 5

Bring your sewing machine, tools (scissors, seam ripper, etc), and materials to the library to work on your projects. Must know how to thread a bobbin and use your machine. Expert Sue will be on hand to answer questions.

Ages 1-5

Come with your little one for bedtime stories, music and a play time.  Bring your favorite stuffed animal!

Grades K-5

Decorate a pre-poured chocolate house with icing, candy, & sprinkles to create a fun, and yummy Halloween House.

Use shrink film, markers and scissors to create shrinkable creations of your favorite video game characters. 

This program is for teens currently in grades 4-8. You must have a valid North Babylon Library card to register.

Ages 1-5

Stop by the Children's Room for a fun play date with other children, and adults.  We supply the toys, you supply the fun!

Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council"s Medicaid enrollment assistors will be in the library to provide Medicaid enrollment assistance to adults and children who are disabled or blind, and anyone over the age of 65.

Ages: Newborn through Eighteen Months

Enjoy with your baby: bouncy rhymes, nursery rhymes & finger plays, music and simple instruments, a free play time with age-appropriate toys, and bubbles!
